School Project: "Tea Japanese Ceremony"

We were invited to perform a traditional tea ceremony as a school project as part of an international culture learning class at one of Nanaimo elementary schools.

We introduced the idea of Japanese tea ceremony, demonstrated tea ceremony traditions and offered tea tasting to the students.

We were very impressed that the students concentrated quietly throughout the classes and that we got a lot of positive feedback from them.

We appreciated having this opportunity to share Japanese traditions with Canadian students.
